    I would like to further add the to this idea.

    Adding a keyboard shortcut to resize selected shapes would be useful. Just as you can use arrow keys to move selected shapes perhaps adding Ctrl and Alt shortcuts for expanding and shrinking could be done? Examples follow:

    Arrow Up = Move shape upward by 1
    Ctrl + Arrow Up = Top side of shape extends upward by 1
    Alt + Arrow Up = Top side of shape shrinks downward by 1

    Arrow Right = Move shape to the right by 1
    Ctrl + Arrow Right = Right side of shape extends to the right by 1
    Alt + Arrow Right = Right side of shape shrinks to the left by 1

  2. Option to set default shape size for shapes that are pulled from the side edit bar
